Richmond, Texas, is a city located in Fort Bend County, in the southeastern part of the state. It is part of the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan area. The city covers an area of approximately 4.3 square miles (11.1 square kilometers) and has a population of around 12,000 people, as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021.
